The islands of Sumatra, the uncharted jungles of Kalimantan, the cities of Java, the beaches of Bali, the marine life of Nusa Tenggara and the impenetrable wilderness of Papua are just some of the regions that fill Indonesia with much diversity and wonder. Although much of its traditions have stemmed from the Hindus of the former Majapahit empire, there is no one particular culture to describe Indonesia.
