In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected the entire world, we have had to re-evaluate and reshape our current service and policies in order to prepare for travel post-COVID-19. Alongside close monitoring of this continually evolving situation, we have been in constant communication with all our partners around the world, to ensure that we have the most up to date information on the destinations we cover.


Here are the things we have been working on to provide assurances in preparing for travelling post-COVID-19.


For those looking at booking trips in the future, we have created new booking terms with our partners in each destination, to design them with the most flexibility. This means secured postponements or full refunds where applicable.

We understand that with so much uncertainty regarding the situation, that flexibility in cancellations and payments are at the top of every guest’s mind. We have changed our policies, to allow for these liberties given the current situation.

Our Flexibility Pledge

For those who have existing bookings with us and are unable to travel, we will make arrangements for postponement of travel, as well as working with our partners to offer the best alternatives, in order to minimise any additional cost.

In the event of a cancellation of a future booking, the outcome will be based on the cancellation policy of our partners in each destination and establishment. These policies may vary, and we will be sure to communicate them to you upon making your booking. Our priority is to you, so we will work with our partners to find the best solution on a case-by-case basis.

Airports have had to make some changes to help keep everyone safe as we build towards taking flight again. Airlines are gradually re-establishing routes so please refer to the resources below from the Changi Airport Group for updates:

Transfers & Meet & Greet

We are working with our partners to make sure that new measures are in place, including efficient sanitation and hygiene protocols, before we start welcoming back guests to these destinations.

Our partners on the ground will maintain a high level of hygiene protocols, which will include disinfecting public areas and high surface contact areas frequently and thoroughly.

Social Distancing

Places we visit would practice social distancing.

Personal Hygiene

We will provide masks and hand sanitizers to all our Amala guests. Our partners on the ground will have these prepared for you as well.


We will review with our partners on their updated hygiene protocols, to assure that guest-rooms and facilities are kept clean.


All staff have been trained in correct sanitizing and personal hygiene procedures with a focus on limiting the transmission of communicable diseases; as well as usage of PPE, and personal hygiene and sanitation protocols.
