Taking you 4,000 metres above sea level to look down upon the stunning Tiger’s Nest, the Bumdra overnight hike is truly a unique way to discover the raw beauty of Bhutan. Beginning at Thimphu, the Path to Bumdra takes you through Punakha and Phobjikha before the trek in Paro. After a trail through temples and hermitages on a climb toward Bumdra Monastery, where camp is set up for the night. The hike through serene lands and dense forests offers a terrific glimpse into the magic of this gentle kingdom.
