The journey beings at the capital, Vientiane. While the city breathes at a relaxed pace, we visit the important sites of the past and present to witness its strong ties to Buddhism that is evident in the many wats (temples) that are scattered around the city. A short flight away is Champasak, a region known for its stunning waterfalls, ethnic diversity, coffee and tea.
After pausing at Luang Prabang, the journey continues to Muang Laโthe drive there takes you through the different communities, each with their own unique culture and traditions, living in high-altitude conditions. Muang La is where we connect with nature, learn about the agricultural practices from villagers and get a glimpse into their daily lives.
The journey concludes back at Luang Prabang to immerse ourselves in the charm of a town that is rich in heritage.
