Kweene Trails, Botswana
A Remote Okavango Safari Journey
From USD 7,990 per person (4 nights, 5 days)
Kweene is not a camp. It’s an expedition through a remote and rarely explored corner of the western Okavango Delta, accessible only by helicopter.
The Okavango Delta is known for its beauty, but very few ever experience it like this.
Why Travel to Bostwana in 2026
This season’s flood levels are spectacular, transforming the Delta into a dreamlike wilderness of floodplains, islands and wildlife-rich channels. Combined with Kweene’s unique mix of dry land access and water experiences, it is shaping up to be an exceptional year to experience this region.
Available Dates – 2026
Kweene Trails operates on a limited number of shared departure dates throughout the season. Guests can join on these set departures without needing to form a private group.

Set in a remote corner of the western Delta, Kweene Trails offers access to a landscape reached only by helicopter, where floodplains, islands, and dry terrain exist side by side. Rather than staying in one place, this is a safari that unfolds as a journey—moving between camps and following the natural rhythm of the land.
This is not a traditional lodge-based safari, but a more immersive and flexible way to explore the Delta.
Days are shaped by the environment—walking across open terrain, gliding through channels by mokoro, or tracking wildlife with expert guides. Evenings are spent around the fire, with beautifully simple meals and a sense of complete stillness. With exceptional guiding and access to a remarkably productive ecosystem, it offers a rare balance of authenticity, comfort, and quiet exclusivity.
